Causative
It is the statement or sentence used to order someone to do something or it could say those causatives are main verbs that cause people things do things. Causative verbs include: make, get, have, let.
There is a kind form of causative
1. Causative used get with man as object. (Active)
a. S + get(gets/got) + man + to infinitive
E.g.:
• Yesterday, I got Robik to wash my car.
• The teacher gets the students to read the books.
b. S + let + man +verb word.
E.g.:
• His mother let him go to school.
c. Let’s get Ralph to go with us
d. His mother made him take his medicine.
e. My English teacher had us give oral reports.
2. Causative used get things accidents.
a. S + have(has/had) + man + verb0
e.g.:
• Yesterday I had Robik wash my car.
• The teacher has the students read the book.
b. S + have/get + thing + verb III
e.g.:
• I have my class painted.
c. S + make + thing + v3
e.g.:
• Why don’t you have an electrician checks.
Active man
Passive thing
• I make the book red.
• I made my student written.
We use v I in active in active when object is a person.
We use v III in passive when object is thing.

Unreal past
1. Wish…
a. The country wishes he were able to be a tycoon.
It means the countryman is not able to be a tycoon.
b. The goose wished she had never met the countryman.
It means the goose met the countryman.
c. The countryman wishes he were a rich man.
The fact is that he is a poor man. He isn’t a rich man.
2. If only…
a. If only I had known that countryman was a cruel man, i would have let him. (Conditional type 3).
The fact is I didn’t know that the country was cruel man.
b. If only I were you, I would take his offer to be movie star. (Conditional type 2).
The fact is I’m not you.
c. If only I hadn’t been lying to my mother, I wouldn’t have had any trouble. (Conditional type 2).
It means I was lying to my mother.
3. Would rather…
a. I would rather it rained this morning.
It means it doesn’t rain this morning.
b. I would rather I worked for a government company.
The fact is I work for private company.
c. I would rather I had learned Japanese or French, but I didn’t.
4. As if...
a. Lanny speaks as if she were married, but she isn’t.
b. Socy talked as though she had known a lot about cars, but she didn’t.
c. Pinyo acts if he could speak French well, but she can’t.
